Bryce Canyon
Bryce Canyon is only about 2.5 hour drive from Amber Inn Bed and Breakfast. (The drive doesn't seem long though, because a large part of the road goes through Zion National Park, and surrounding scenic areas, letting you enjoy the magnificient views while driving.)
Named after one of the early Mormon pioneers Ebenezer Bryce, who lived in the area of Bryce Canyon in 1870s, Bryce Canyon National Park is visited by more than 1.7 million people each year, from all around the world. (click on the images to see them enlarged)

The bed of Bryce Canyon is covered with hoodoos - pillars of rock, usually of fantastic shape, left by the millions years of erosion. Patterns of thousands of hoodoos make up the unforgettable views of Bryce Canyon.

One of the most interesting places in the Bryce Canyon National Park is Natural Bridge. (Actually it is an arch, formed by rain and frost erosion acting form the top of the rock, unlike the real natural bridges, formed by running streams).
